Typhoon Notice
Sailing Arrangements and Information Dissemination during Typhoon Season
Sun Ferry has always been committed to providing safe ferry services. When typhoon is coming, the sea condition is different from that of the land, therefore, apart from taking into account the tropical cyclone warning signal, Sun Ferry also looks at severe gale, freak waves and storm tides that affect the vessel stability and operation of vessels, together with the sea conditions en route and the safe concern for navigation in open water. With the safety of the passengers and the fleet in mind, the coxswains shall make professional judgments and access the prevailing environmental conditions to decide on whether the ferry services should be suspended or resumed.
At the same time, when special arrangements such as suspension and resumption of sailings are required, Sun Ferry will also notify passengers through various channels, including:
1) Up-to-date information of sailing schedule will be recorded in Sun Ferry Customer Service Hotline 2131 8181. After the call is connected, passengers can listen to the latest sailing arrangement directly
